
ANIA HULL

Ania Hull is a European, Canadian, and American journalist and writer
​
She grew up as a child refugee to France, on political asylum, and as an immigrant in French Canada. She has since travelled to more than 70 countries and has so far lived in Mexico, India, England, Italy, Zambia, Poland, Hungary, and Hong Kong. She's fluent in English, French, Spanish, and Polish (and used to speak Italian and German). She currently lives in the high desert of New Mexico (U.S.).

Ania holds a BA in philosophy and Latin, a B.Ed in language acquisition, a research MA in sociolinguistics and linguistic human rights in post-colonial sub-Saharan Africa, a British MA in creative writing, a graduate certificate in editing, and an MFA in creative and narrative writing. She's also earned graduate credits in journalism from several universities in the U.S.​​​​
​
She's a reporter and staff writer at the Santa Fe New Mexican and its weekly magazine, and freelances for other publications.
